A widely respected building contractor with a rich history of delivering incredible projects across the South is searching for a Contracts Manager to join the team.
Projects ranging from a few million up to £30m+ within Healthcare, Education and Industrial projects. Newbuild, Extension and Refurbishment.
Summary of the role:
- As the Contracts Manager, your aim is to maximise profit whilst exceeding all client expectations acting as the senior operational manager.
- You will be responsible for more than one project with the support from the project managers.
- This is a Senior Management role, so you will be required to provide a high level of managerial direction and support to site teams to enable them to achieve a successful outcome to their Projects in terms of profit, timeliness and quality within a safe environment.
- Responsible for the resourcing, development and leadership of a team.
- Ensuring all projects comply with health, safety and environmental legislation, thereby delivering the end product on time, within budget and to the agreed quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- A deep understanding of construction processes.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
