We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds. This full-time maternity cover role starts in January and offers the chance to work within a supportive and dynamic team.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications or significant experience working with secondary-age students.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Flexibility to cover a variety of subjects when needed.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a productive and respectful learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities across a range of subjects.
- Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student engagement and performance during covered lessons.
- Support students in maintaining their focus and motivation in the classroom.
