About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school by providing cover for teachers across a variety of subjects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher, maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Implementing pre-prepared lessons and activities, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respectful interactions and a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborating with teaching staff, providing feedback on student progress and any classroom issues.
- Adapting to different teaching styles and subject matter, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.
