About the Role

Randstad is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our network of educators. In this role, you will support students and help them reach their full potential by delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

This full-time position at an independent school requires prior teaching experience. Ideally, you will have experience in the independent sector and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and delivering pre-set lessons across different subjects.
• Ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning.
• Managing classroom behavior and following school policies.
• Collaborating with colleagues to assess and support student progress.

Requirements

Essential:

• Experience teaching or supporting learning in UK schools.
• Two references from the last five years, including one related to child safeguarding.

Desired:

• A DBS registered on the update service.
• A comprehensive 10-year job history.
