Responsibilities
- Classroom Management: Ensure a positive, engaging, and well-ordered learning environment, managing student behaviour in line with school policies.
- Supervision: Oversee students during lessons, breaks, and transitions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support Learning: Assist with lesson content, answer student questions, and help them stay on track with their work.
- Maintain Records: Accurately record attendance, behaviour incidents, and any other relevant information.
- Promote Inclusivity: Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging positive interactions among students.
- Emergency Preparedness: Familiarise yourself with emergency procedures to ensure student safety in unexpected situations.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn
- Passion for supporting young learners
