About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and productive learning experience for students in the absence of their regular teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes across various subjects, ensuring students remain focused and engaged in their learning.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities in a clear and engaging manner, adapting your approach to cater to different learning styles.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and respectful learning environment where all students feel safe and supported.
- Collaborating with teaching staff, providing feedback on student engagement and progress, and contributing to a positive school culture.
About You:
- You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- You are adaptable, resourceful, and confident in your ability to engage with secondary school students.
- You have a passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.
- Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
