Randstad Education is working with a large Academy Trust in London and I have successfully placed several candidates into permanent school administrative positions within their trust
As the successful candidate you MUST have an enthusiasm for Art & Design and experience of having WORKED in a school environment and DEMONSTRATE the ability to work with Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) proficiently. Ideally you must live in or have easy access to our school in Kensington & Chelsea.
The successful candidate will be required to have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one.
ABOUT THE ROLE
... - To support the teaching and learning of Art and Design Technology
- To provide technical and administrative support, practical assistance and advice where required to staff and students of the Academy
- To prepare practical activities within safety guidelines.
- To check, prepare and set up equipment, materials and machinery as required.
- To order and prepare resources.
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess genuine enthusiasm for Art, Design, and Technology with a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrate effective collaboration with adults and students alike.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in diverse situations.
- Utilise experience with a variety of workshop machinery effectively.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM operations.
- Skilled in 2D Design, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
- Knowledgeable about workshop and school health and safety protocols.
