We have a Customer Service Representative role available within TATA Steel's Shotton site. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for delivering an excellent level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. This will also involve working across in house systems, spreadsheets and email to ensure customers needs are met effectively.
Role: Customer Service Representative
Location: TATA Steel, Shotton Works, Deeside, Weighbridge Rd, Flintshire CH5 2NH
Hybrid working is available after the training period which is X2 days remote working (Mon and Fri) and office based X3 days (Tue-Thu)
Rate: £25,000 per annum (£12.82ph)
Contract length: 6 months initially with the opportunity for a permanent position
Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week. Mon-Thu 08:30-17:00 and Fri 08:30-16:00. 45 minute break (unpaid)
Start: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Supporting customers with the ordering of bespoke items via email and telephone communication
- Liasing with internal stakeholders to ensure customer orders can be met
- Resolving customer queries quickly and effectively
- Handling customer complaints as they arise and through to resolution
- Working across multiple in house systems and spreadsheets to enter order data accurately
- Entering customer orders onto the businesses order processing system (STRATIX)
- Checking inputted orders to ensure accuracy of peers work
- Processing of order amendments
- Checking supplier acknowledgements, and to administrate the direct shipping of goods and bought-in-goods, within STRATIX.
- Any additional administrative tasks required by the organisation
Essential requirements:
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous experience within a customer focused administrative role (2+years)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- IT literacy and experience using MS Office, in particular Excel and Outlook
- Data entry experience
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to at times, deliver disappointing news to customers
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work on own initiative as well as at times, under pressure
Desirable requirements:
- Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
- Previous experience with SAP, Salesforce and/or Stratix systems
- Experience within an engineering/production environment
