Job Title: Customer Solutions Design Specialist
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
About the Role: Join our Design team as a Customer Solutions Design Specialist. You'll design end-to-end Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) solutions for our defence customers, ensuring they meet technical and business requirements while aligning with security standards.
Need active SC Clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and translate customer requirements into detailed technical designs.
- Manage solution design, validation, and integration processes.
- Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships.
- Oversee migration planning, issue resolution, and risk management.
- Mentor team members and stay updated on emerging trends.
Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in UCC technologies (PBX, VoIP, video conferencing, mobility).
- Experience with telecommunication vendors (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, SBC-ISP).
- Proven commercial awareness and risk management skills.
- Experience in sensitive government environments is preferred.
Top 3 must haves:
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of on premise and cloud unified communication technology architecture disciplines
- Holds a valid SC clearance or one that recently lapsed
- Experience in Bid work / commercial awareness to ensure CAPEX/OPEX costings
