My client are seeking a qualified electricians / maintenance engineer who is seeking a new challenge. This position is based on a large critical site in Slough. This is a Monday - Friday based role with over time available.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of data centre equipment and systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and respond to emergency issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Monitor and maintain data centre security, including access control systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve operational processes.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and service reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in building maintenance, ideally in a critical environment such as a data centre.
- Solid knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and fire suppression.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier Standards).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work continental shifts, including days and nights.
