Automation & DevOps Engineer - Python - Contract - £380pd (INSIDE IR35)

My client a leader in their field are seeking an experienced Automation & DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, Ansible, and REST APIs, along with infrastructure and DevOps expertise. This role involves automating testing processes, provisioning infrastructure, and ensuring configuration management and enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs.

• Implement TDD/BDD methodologies to enhance test capability.

• Work with Terraform for the deployment and configuration of infrastructure.

• Manage and configure SAN products such as Dell EMC PowerMax/Vmax, PURE, HP Primera/3Par, Cisco SAN Switches, and Brocade SAN switches.

• Utilize GIT for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD automation.

• Conduct comprehensive testing using Selenium, TestNG, PyTest, and Panda.

• Ensure testing in production-like environments with representative volumes.

• Automate all testing processes, including the validation of automation scripts.

• Contribute to automated deployment and provisioning to minimize manual builds.

• Implement configuration management and reporting solutions.
