The Role:
As a Digital Construction Manager, you will take a leading role in implementing digital standards across all phases of construction projects. You'll collaborate closely with the Head of Digital Construction and project teams to drive innovation and efficiency, ensuring high-quality outcomes while meeting client requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing BIM and Digital Construction deliverables from project start to handover.
- Setting up and overseeing tender models in the Common Data Environment (Revizto).
- Ensuring compliance with BIM Execution Plans across consultant and subcontractor teams.
- Leading design quality analysis through model checking and resolving design issues.
- Providing expert advice on BIM workflows and integrating teams effectively.
This is a dynamic role that involves working with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, design consultants, and subcontractors, to unlock value and achieve significant cost and time savings on projects.
This project will involve working on a grade-listed building, requiring expertise in refurbishment work to ensure the preservation and enhancement of its unique architectural heritage.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background in Design, Design Management, or BIM Management. Experience with refurbishment projects, particularly those involving grade-listed or historic buildings, is highly desirable.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- A deep understanding of the design and construction process.
- Proficiency in construction contracts, especially JCT.
- Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Project management expertise and client-facing experience.
- A high-level understanding of design, estimating, planning, and construction management processes.
