Established in 2001, the Yew Wah Shanghai Gubei campus offers a three-year art and design programme supplemented by a diverse array of elective courses. The English-taught programme not only nurtures students' creative competencies but also encompasses portfolio development and university guidance. Students take a 1 year Pre-A programme in Y10, followed by a 2 year A-level course.
The school has a full range of art teaching spaces and facilities, including: Art and Design Classroom, Fashion and Design Classroom, Textiles Classroom, Digital Media Lab, Design and Technology Classroom and Workshop, and Multi-functional Exhibition Hall, etc.

Living and Working in Shanghai

The campus is nestled within the bustling heart of Shanghai's Changning District, close to fashion landmarks and fashion industry districts. Living in Shanghai is very exciting. The city is an amazing blend of traditional China and modern living with everything you can imagine on offer and more. It is China's most Westernized city, and the most comfortable one for expatriates. Shanghai is also exceptionally well placed to explore the rest of China and other parts of Asia.

School Requirements

You should be a qualified teacher with a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience in order to teach in Shanghai.
UK curriculum experience is highly desirable.
Candidates should be able to teach to A-level or equivalent
Previous experience of working with EAL (Students with English as their second language) is useful.
You should be adaptable and flexible and have a positive approach to life, willing to contribute to the continuing development of this great school.
