Dulwich College Suzhou opened in 2007 and is recognised as the leading international school in the region. The College is a Co-Educational Day School for students from Age 2 to 18. There are 800 students, spanning over 30 nationalities, with 420 students in Primary School (Nursery to Year 6) and 380 students in Senior School. The school is academically selective and follows an enhanced British and international curriculum, adapted for the needs of the international student body. School Requirements
You will be leading the Career and University Counselling in the school and should ideally have experience of both the UK and US university applications process.
- Professional graduate degree in guidance counselling/school counselling with 5+ years in secondary education in the areas of university and careers counseling and guidance learning and developmental programmes in a holistic guidance and counseling environment.
- Understands and enjoys networking with and continually learning about US, UK and other university systems throughout the world with a particularly strong understanding of the American higher education system, requirements, and the objectives of targeted universities
- Teaching experience inclusive of curriculum development and implementation
- Experience with social emotional counselling programming in an international school setting and knowledge of the special needs of crosscultural families and students
