About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Non-Caseholding Senior Social Worker to join our Frontline Child Protection Team on an agency basis. In this key role, you will work closely with the team to provide professional guidance, oversight, and leadership without holding your own caseload.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supporting frontline social workers in managing complex child protection cases, offering reflective supervision, and promoting best practices.
• Reviewing casework, assisting in decision-making processes, and ensuring that all child protection work aligns with statutory safeguarding frameworks and policies.
• Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic and effective approach to safeguarding.
• Participating in case audits, quality assurance activities, and offering expert input during case discussions and meetings.
• Acting as a mentor and providing professional development support to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Care Wales.
