They are on the lookout for a confident HLTA, ECT or NQT who would be interested in a part time position Monday - Friday afternoons to support interventions with EAL pupils. To be a successful candidate you will ideally have prior SEN or EAL experience with the confidence and knowledge to deliver interventions to small groups and 1:1 pupils. You will need to be confident with your record keeping, communication and ability to liaise with the SENCO, head and teachers regarding the pupils development and areas of support.

- Schedule: Monday - Friday afternoons (12:30 PM - 3:30 PM)
- Duration: November 6th - December 22nd, with potential extension into the spring term from January 2024
- Location: Blackpool (FY1)
- Pay Rate: £12.50 - £15.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Preparation or collaboration of resources with the Teacher and SENCO.
- Review EAL plans and IEP's.
- Deliver interventions with confidence to small groups and one to one pupils.
- Maintain a controlled and safe environment.
- Have confidence to adapt activities to the needs of the pupil.
- Liaise with other professionals such as Teacher's, TA, specialist support staff.
- Work closely with other LSAs and support staff.
- Complete admin such as records of pupil development, areas covered and next steps.
- Communicate with all necessary parties.
Essential requirements:
- Experience of working with young people.
- Experience with EAL or SEN etc.
- Intervention experience.
- Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
- Ability to engage with, and build rapport with young people.
- Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style.
- HLTA qualified - L3/4 upwards - ECT or NQT also welcome.
