About this Nursery

This setting promotes learning in all-weather with a large outdoor learning and play area which the children access on a daily basis. This particular role is for someone who is looking to advance their career in early years and is looking for a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and will be happy spending time outdoors come rain or shine! Although the setting is ideally looking for someone with a minimum Cache level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare.

Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant will include:

• You will be supporting the teacher with lessons and behaviour management
• You must safeguard children
• Creating inviting activities for the children in your care
• Teaching basic life skills to the children such as general hygiene and good manners
• You will communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required
• You must adapt your support depending on the needs of the children

These are some of the requirements that we need to get you cleared:

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
• At least 6 months experience working with children (must be able to reference your recent work with 2 professional references)
• Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
• A true passion to work with children
• Able to display sensitivity and patience
• CACHE L2/L3 or direct nursery experience preferred
• Good knowledge of EYFS
