The Role:
An international aggregates manufacturer that is seeking a senior EC&I maintenance engineer with experience within an industrial environment or manufacturing industry to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute electrical, automation, and instrumentation tasks, including maintenance, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Act as the site electrical duty holder and take responsibility for the automated sites control system maintenance.
- Manage Siemens automation systems (PLCs/PCS7/SCADA/WinCC/S7-300/HMIs) focusing on fault-finding, programming and updating.
- Ensure ECI compliance and manage statutory activities like fixed wire testing and HV maintenance, PAT testing, Arc Flash Testing etc.
- Ensure constant maintenance of the site's control systems / PLCs including fault finding, programming and modifications. (Preferable Siemens S7 / PCS7)
- Handle high voltage (HV) networks and coordinate ECI projects, including design, documentation, and training.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in training and development for engineers and provide after-hours technical support for equipment failures.
- Promoting and advocating safety and environmental awareness, and striving for Continuous Improvement.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience and competency in a similar position within a heavy production or manufacturing environment is required.
- You must have completed an onsite apprenticeship (or hold a Degree HNC, ONC or HND) in Electrical /Electronic/Control/ Automation Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- A solid understanding and hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process systems are necessary.
- Strong knowledge and experience with automation systems (specifically PLC Siemens PCS7) and instrument engineering is crucial.
- Have experience of programming, editing and fault finding on Siemens systems (PCS7), SCADA systems (WinCC) and communication network e.g. Profibus and Profinet and be able to use Auto CAD and Trimble.
- Strong understanding and experience of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and process systems
- Hold a Health and Safety NEBOSH or IOSH Certification
- You must hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
