Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in West Bromwich. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our plant's electrical systems in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems within the plant.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production.
Monitor and maintain the electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Work closely with the engineering team to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND).
