We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in West London. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a background in industrial factory or train depot environments, looking to work on high-performance electrical systems within a dynamic and safety-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on industrial and rail-related electrical systems.
- Design, install, and test electrical components, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and system upgrades to enhance reliability.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and maintenance teams to support operational efficiency.
- Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including risk assessments and method statements.
Requirements:
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification required.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally in an industrial factory or train depot environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical control systems, fault-finding, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience with three-phase electrical systems, PLCs, and high-voltage equipment.
- Knowledge of railway electrical infrastructure, depot protection systems, or industrial automation.
- Electrical Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) certification.
