Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Bias Facilities Manager to join their team in a dynamic, mobile role covering the West Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity for a facilities management professional with a strong electrical background to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of client sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering all facilities services, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planned and Reactive Maintenance: Coordinate and execute both planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks with a focus on electrical systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements across all sites.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and clear communication.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of service delivery and teamwork.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Project Management: Oversee small works and improvement projects from inception to completion, including coordination with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in facilities management, with a strong bias towards electrical systems.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel across the West Midlands region as required.
- License: Valid UK driving license.
