We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Electrical Biased Engineer to join a renowned petrochemical site in Pangbourne. As part of the facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of all electrical systems and equipment across the site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong electrical experience looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve faults within the electrical infrastructure.
- Work on various systems including lighting, power distribution, control panels, motors, and generators.
- Perform regular inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support the mechanical side of the facilities maintenance when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed safely and in line with company health and safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Biased Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, fault finding, and maintenance.
- Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience working in a facilities maintenance environment, preferably in petrochemical or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
