Are you an experienced Electrical Project Engineer looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading company in the water industry, is seeking talented professionals to join their team. With substantial work secured in the Thames Water region, they are expanding their electrical engineering team.
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality water infrastructure and non-infra projects. Your technical expertise will help ensure these projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating electrical aspects of projects within the Thames Water region, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Collaborating with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Conducting regular project reviews and status meetings to monitor progress and address any potential issues.
- Resolving project-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Providing technical support and guidance to the project team during development and execution phases.
- Ensuring all project documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and industry standards.
- Mentoring and developing junior project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical project engineering within the water industry.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering processes and methodologies within the water sector.
- Strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with relevant project management software and tools.
- Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety regulations.
- Previous experience in water and wastewater treatment plants and infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
