We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team, working on domestic contracts. This is an office-based role, offering a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for managing and reviewing electrical reports, including stock condition reports. As an Electrical QS, you will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by providing accurate assessments and contract management support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, interpreting, and signing off electrical reports.
- Preparing and managing stock condition reports.
- Assisting with cost estimation and budget control.
- Ensuring that projects adhere to contractual specifications.
- Liaising with both internal teams and external clients to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Managing the administration of domestic contracts and providing support to the project management team.
- Maintaining accurate documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
- NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Previous experience in a similar electrical QS role, ideally within the domestic sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical reports and contract management.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
