Electrical Supervisor needed to work on a major upgrade contract in East London. This is a long term role which could continue for 12-18 months worth of work with a large and well known contractor.
The chosen candidate must also be an LVAP. The duties will include ensuring electrical safety rules are followed, verifying new electrical systems, safely isolating low voltage electrical systems, and producing supporting documentation.
This role is a great opportunity for an experienced freelance Electrical Supervisor who is looking to develop his experience whilst working on a large contract. The chosen candidate will be working a Monday-Friday day shift.
This role is paying CIS.
Location: East London
Roles and responsibilities:
- Prepare Task Briefings
- Attend meeting as required for Safe Planning and Delivery of works, attend progress meetings / Safety meetings
- Undertake PGI / Safety inspections
- Undertake briefings on planned works
- Undertake submission of daily shift reports
- Safety Leadership on site
- Contributing to the wider programme safety targets and culture
- Compliance with safe systems of work on site
- Report errors or omissions in a timely and diligent manner through shift reports
- Ensure all personnel under your control are fully briefed and work in a safe manner
- Follow plans to achieve planned outcomes within possessions

Candidate requirements:
- Degree qualified in electrical engineering or equivalent or experience from working on the tools
- Previous experience working with on rail projects
- LVAP needed
- A validCSCS card,SSSTS orSMSTS
