Hi all, my electrical manufacturing client if currently hiring for an Electrical Tendering Engineer, this position will be based in Cavan and is fully on-site
The Tendering Engineer is responsible for preparing, managing, and submitting competitive bids for engineering projects. Initial electrical transformer design, specification and materials and accessories analysis is required. This role involves close coordination with various departments to gather necessary information, analyse project requirements, and develop cost-effective solutions that meet client specifications and standards.
This presentation of on-time, accurate and professionally delivered tenders and quotations is key to fulfilling our strategy and growth projections. This is a key role in our organisation contributing to the creation and enhancement of solid client relationships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering or design engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and electrical distribution practices.
- Proficiency in tendering and cost estimation software.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
