Title: Engineering Manager (Highways/ Structures)

This client requires an Engineering Manager with Structures, Highways and Drainage experience to join their £100 million Highways project.
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 (Flexible depending on the candidates experience)
About you:
- Degree or alternative higher education qualification in Civil Engineering or considerable time served in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience in the application of relevant industry specifications, such as The Specification for Highway Works
- Conversant in relevant British and European standards
- Experience within Highways, Structures, Drainage and Earthworks
- Have worked on high value projects
Details of the role:
- Managing the prediction and monitoring of ground movements against predicted values
- Produce and contribute to and implementation of plans to manage change
- Ensure appropriate action is taken in response to ground movement and/or damage to Client or 3rd party assets, including utilities and adjacent infrastructure
- Approval of major permits: to dig, to load, to strike
- Manage the response to unexpected ground conditions
