We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced English teachers to support KS3 and KS4 students in Preston. This role offers an appealing daily rate, determined by your skills, qualifications, and teaching experience.
Your role will involve inspiring a love of literature and language, developing student's analytical and communication skills, and supporting their academic and personal growth. You will also deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students.

Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
- Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Strong subject knowledge
- Punctual and reliable

Personal Attributes:

- QTS/PGCE equivalent
