We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our secondary school in Bradford on a full-time, temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons to students of various abilities, ensuring that they are well-prepared for exams and confident in their reading, writing, and analytically skills.

QTS or PGCE in English (or a related subject) is essential.
Recent experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Passion for English and a commitment to educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Monitor and assess student's progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
Engage students with a variety of teaching methods and resources.
Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and participate in departmental activities.
Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of students, adhering to school policies and procedures.
