Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the English department by helping with lesson planning and classroom exercises.
- Help kids with understanding, writing, and reading assignments.
- Offer focused interventions to students who require more help.
- Encourage pupils' passion for books and English.
- Assist in preserving an upbeat and stimulating learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on the updated or willingness to apply a new one.
- Must provide 2 professional references.
- A qualified English teacher (QTS/QTLS).
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- A passion for fostering a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
- The ability to challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
