Key Responsibilities
Create and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons
Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience a plus)
Prepare students for their GCSE English exams
Track student progress through various assessments
Cultivate an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere
Follow school policies and safeguarding guidelines
Essential Skills and Attributes
Strong knowledge of English Language and Literature
Skilled in classroom management
Creative in lesson planning and resource creation
Effective communicator with students and colleagues
Ability to inspire and motivate students at all levels
Strong commitment to safeguarding
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK
