We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Hailsham this September. This temp-to-perm role offers you the opportunity to shape young minds and grow professionally within a supportive, student-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons
Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 experience an advantage
Help prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature exams
Monitor and assess student progress using a range of methods
Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding guidelines
Essential Skills and Attributes
Strong knowledge of English Language and Literature
Excellent classroom management
Creative lesson planning and resource development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Recent experience in teaching English at a secondary school level
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
