We are on the outlook for a dedicated, enthusiastic English Teacher to join one of our prominent Schools (we are looking for both Primary and Secondary Schools) in Wigan.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher who can create engaging lessons that foster a love for literature and language. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupil's.
- Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking among pupil's.
- Support pupil's in their academic and personal development, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
- Assess pupil progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Manage pupil behaviour effectively, applying consistent and fair behaviour management strategies.
- Support initiatives to improve literacy levels among pupil's, including targeted interventions for those needing additional support.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupil's, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupil's alike.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this)
- Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
