We're seeking dynamic and skilled English teachers to join our teams across the Preston, Blackburn, Blackpool, Lancaster, and Wigan areas, providing support and guidance to KS3 and KS4 students. We offer a competitive daily rate that reflects your experience and qualifications.
In this role, you will create dynamic lessons, cultivate a passion for literature, and support students in reaching their academic potential. You will also manage classroom behaviour, support student progress, and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
- Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Strong subject knowledge
- Punctual and reliable

- Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
- Strong classroom management
- Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour

Personal Attributes:
- You will have a genuine passion for teaching
- Experience up to key stage 3/4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
- Be flexible and committed
