Key Responsibilities:
● Ensure compliance with Environmental Management Systems and relevant legislation.
● Collect environmental and sustainability data and generate reports.
● Advise on pollution prevention, waste reduction, and environmental incident
management.
● Support FM and Project teams with sustainability and environmental considerations.
● Collaborate with clients to align with their Net Zero sustainability strategies.
● Stay informed on sustainable initiatives, energy efficiency, and retrofit opportunities.
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
● Conduct site audits and duty of care assessments for subcontractors.
● Work with the QSHE team to assess and mitigate operational risks.
● Raise awareness and improve sustainability performance across operational teams.
● Generate key performance reports to fulfill compliance obligations.
● Lead Social Value Responsibility (SVR) efforts and encourage team participation.
● Create case studies demonstrating sustainability improvements and carbon reductions.
● Promote sustainability awareness through training, briefings, and campaigns.
● Develop the sustainability strategy and action plan.
● Identify and support new sustainability opportunities with the Business Development
Team.
● Maintain a pipeline of sustainability projects to achieve Net Zero objectives.
● Assist site teams in preparing Sustainability Management Plans.
● Assess environmental impacts across projects and FM service delivery.
Health and Safety:
● Champion a strong Health & Safety culture.
● Ensure compliance with health and safety standards through regular site audits.
Candidate Profile

Experience:
● Background in Facilities Management or Projects
● Proven experience embedding sustainability and environmental strategies in an
organization.
● Track record of delivering sustainability initiatives with measurable carbon footprint
reductions.
● Experience in sustainability and retrofit management best practices.
Qualifications:
● IEMA Environmental Management certification (Essential)
● ISO 14001 Awareness (Essential)
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Essential)
● IOSH Leading or Managing Sustainably (Desirable)
● IOSH/NEBOSH Certification (Desirable)
● PTLLS Qualification (Desirable)
