We are looking for personable and organised individuals to join our Exam Invigilation Team for a client school trust in Lewisham and supervise students taking both internal and external examinations for the end of year exams April 2025 - July 2025
You will be employed specifically to support a Secondary School Trust in Lewisham. The hours are variable depending upon the exam timetable.
The school exam period will be from April 2025 - July 2025 so we are wanting applicants to be available for work during this period.
Pay is £13.50 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Key responsibilities:
- setting-up examinations by sorting and laying out stationery, equipment, ID cards and examination scripts in accordance with JCQ (governing body for exam boards) strict procedures
- Directing students to their seats
- Advising them about possessions permitted in examination venues
- Reading out examination instructions
- On occasions scribing for students who need additional support with writing.
Requirements:
- Possess good interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with matters calmly
- Will need to be reliable, punctual and flexible.
- No formal qualifications are required as full mandatory training will be provided, including comprehensive child protection training.
