About the role
As an Exam Invigilator in a secondary school in Sheffield, you will play a vital role in ensuring that students have the best possible environment to succeed in their exams. You'll join a dedicated team, helping to maintain the integrity of the examination process by ensuring compliance with regulations and providing support to students.This is a full-time, ad hoc role, starting immediately.

Essential Requirements
... - Experience working in a school or educational setting (desirable).
- An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Availability to work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities
- Preparing the examination room by arranging seating and distributing materials.
- Ensuring that all exam regulations and guidelines are strictly followed.
- Verifying student identities and ensuring attendance is recorded accurately.
- Providing clear instructions to students before, during, and after exams.
- Monitoring students throughout the exam to prevent cheating or misconduct.
- Handling emergencies or disruptions calmly and professionally.
- Liaising with teaching staff and exam officers as needed.
- Reporting any breaches of regulations to senior staff.
- Assisting students with special requirements, such as extra time or specific equipment.
- Setting up and maintaining a quiet and focused exam environment.
