At Randstad, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled EYFS Teaching Assistant who is committed to supporting early years education and making a meaningful impact on young learners.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Assist with the social, emotional, and academic development of children through play-based learning.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to enhance early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among children.
- Observe and monitor children's progress, reporting key developments to the teacher.
- Assist with classroom preparation, including organising resources and setting up learning areas.
- Support children with personal care needs when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an EYFS setting within a school or nursery.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, staff, and parents.
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs, including SEN support.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to working with young children.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
