Job Title: Fabric Engineer/Handyman
Location: York
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum
Are you a skilled and versatile Fabric Engineer/Handyman with experience in plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance? My client is a large facilities maintenance company, they are currently seeking a Fabric Engineer/Handyman to join a team and play a pivotal role in maintaining and servicing a World Heritage Commercial site set right in the centre of the historic city of York. This unique building would be a great opportunity for a Fabric Engineer/Handyman to showcase all of their skills and acquired experience , due to the intriguing fabric of the building.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Carpentry work
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- General maintenance and repairs as required
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Responding to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-focused approach
