Are you passionate about supporting families and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people? Randstad is recruiting for a Family Hub Practitioner to join the Greater Manchester Family Hub team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of the Start for Life and wider Family Hub initiatives, working with families to provide essential support and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key contact for families within the Family Hub, helping them access a range of preventative, evidence-based interventions and support services.
- Provide support for new and expectant parents/carers during their transition to parenthood, including Home Learning Environment (HLE) interventions and parenting support.
- Support children, young people, and families using Early Help, strengths-based approaches, and evidence-based assessments to plan care.
- Promote school readiness and Early Years Foundation Stage principles through observation, assessment, and intervention.
- Promote healthy lifestyles and emotional well-being, connecting families to health-care services and the Healthy Child Programme.
- Make referrals to Family Hub services and the Family Hub Network to build capacity in individuals and promote healthier lifestyles.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the co-delivery of support services with community and voluntary sector partners.
- Promote baby-friendly practices, supporting parents with informed feeding choices and promoting breastfeeding where appropriate.
- Collaborate with a wide range of professionals and agencies to ensure seamless service delivery for children and families.
- Provide opportunities for parents and carers to share their experiences and tailor services based on feedback.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in family support, early years, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, school readiness, and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in a multi-agency setting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- A solution-focused approach with a commitment to safeguarding children.
