About the Family Safeguarding Team:
The Family Safeguarding Team focuses on keeping families together where possible, providing early interventions and tailored support to protect children. As a Senior Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Managing complex caseloads, including child protection and care proceedings.
Undertaking assessments and developing support plans for families.
Working closely with multi-agency teams, including health and education professionals.
Providing expert guidance and support to junior team members.
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed in line with statutory guidelines.
Advocating for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.

What You Need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Registration with Social Care England.
Strong knowledge of child protection, safeguarding policies, and court processes.
Ability to assess risks, make informed decisions, and work under pressure.
A commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.
