Randstad Care is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join the Family Support Team in Wrexham on an agency contract. This is a great opportunity for professionals passionate about working with children and families to ensure their safety, well-being, and development in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of children and families requiring support.
- Conduct assessments to identify needs, risks, and strengths within families.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to deliver holistic support.
- Provide direct support to families, focusing on early intervention and prevention of escalation into more complex social care services.
- Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records in line with statutory requirements.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, BA, MA, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Care Wales (or willing to register if applicable).
- Previous experience within family support or children's social work teams.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
