Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of children and families requiring support.
• Conduct assessments to identify needs, risks, and strengths within families.
• Develop, implement, and review care plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
• Work collaboratively with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to deliver holistic support.
• Provide direct support to families, focusing on early intervention and prevention of escalation into more complex social care services.
• Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records in line with statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, BA, MA, or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Care Wales (or willing to register if applicable).
• Previous experience within family support or children's social work teams.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
