Skills and Experience
We are looking for individuals who are ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified (or equivalent) and have detailed experience of management roles in many of the following areas:
- Experience of working as an accountant in practice or in industry
- Team leadership and management, including coaching and leading delivery teams, and reporting to clients and/ or senior stakeholders.
- Operational finance experience including knowledge of finance processes and controls e.g. O2C, P2P, R2R etc.
- Financial management experience including financial budgeting and analysis,
- Management accounting and financial reporting
- Good analytical skills, commercial aptitude and professionally skeptical mindset (ability to identify issues, understand complex problems, draw sound conclusions)
- Experience in documenting/ testing financial processes and experience of a range of ERP systems/ accounting packages
Key Responsibilities:
As a Manager within the team, you will be responsible for ensuring we provide a high standard of delivery to our clients. Therefore the role will involve management and oversight in the following areas:
- Operational finance management of the team delivering which will include reviewing in areas such as: O2C, P2P, R2R and general ledger accounting,
- Management accounting and reporting - actuals, budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Financial control oversight,
- Involvement in period/ year end close processes
- Managing and coaching your team in their roles in delivery
- Collaborating with our clients as key delivery contact
- Managing the key commercials with respect to a portfolio of clients including, resourcing, budgeting, fees and billing.
- Ensuring new clients are onboarded as our solutions and services grow and develop
