Key Responsibilities:
Drive the development and implementation of finance systems
Ensure compliance and establish financial processes and controls
Manage a finance team of approximately three staff members
Oversee year-end audits and manage relationships with external auditors
Produce financial reports for internal stakeholders and the Board
Take ownership of internal finance functions including cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll
Lead the quarterly and year-end reporting cycles
Prepare and ensure compliance with tax filings including VAT, RCT, and PAYE
Collaborate with commercial teams for reporting and strategic business support
Candidate Profile:
Degree-qualified, ideally with a professional accounting qualification (ACCA or ACA) and a minimum of 5 years' experience in an industry setting
Background in the construction sector is highly advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems, particularly COINS, is preferred
High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
Strong team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to work
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
