The Role :
We are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our partnered esteemed Secondary School based in North Cambridge. As a Food Technology Teacher, you are expected to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that inspires students to develop practical cooking skills, an understanding of nutrition, and a lifelong appreciation of food.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create, organise, and present excellent Food Technology classes.
- Establish a welcoming environment for learning.
- Evaluate and track the development of your students, offering help and advice when required.
- Maintain strict guidelines for student behaviour and classroom management.
- Attend meetings, school functions, and opportunities for professional growth.
Essential requirements:
- All applicants should have the right to work in the UK.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in food technology or a related field.
- Experience teaching food technology at the secondary school level.
- 2 proven, recent professional references.
- A valid enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate (registered with the online update service) is required. Alternatively, we can guide you through the application process.
