Front end loader
Location: Warmsworth, Doncaster DN4 9RS
Pay rate: £17 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with optional weekend work (Overtime rates apply)
Are you an experienced Front-End Loader Operator looking to join a dynamic team in the aggregate industry? We are seeking a skilled and hands-on individual to start immediately in a busy, rewarding role. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a front-end loader to move, load, and transport materials such as soil, gravel, sand, and other heavy materials.
- Efficiently load trucks, hoppers, or conveyors while ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Communicate with supervisors, truck drivers, and other equipment operators to ensure smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with site team members and assist in housekeeping and general maintenance tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and organised site environment.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the loading shovel to ensure it remains in good working order.
- Follow all site safety guidelines and operational protocols to maintain high safety standards.
- Be flexible with shift changes as required to support operational needs.
- There is also 20% duties of housekeeping / general maintenance work.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience operating a loading shovel or similar heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with material handling and stockpiling techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with regard to safety.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and inspections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
