We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Functional Skills Tutor to support a post-16 student in developing their essential skills. The successful candidate must be reliable, consistent, and patient, with a passion for helping learners achieve their potential.
Role Details:
- Subject: Functional Skills (Maths and/or English)
- Schedule: 2 hours per week (Monday & Friday, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
- Location: LA3
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to support the student's learning needs.
- Provide a structured, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Track progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching Functional Skills (Maths and/or English).
- A compassionate and consistent approach to tuition.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., teaching or tutoring experience, Level 3+ qualification in education or subject area preferred).
