We are currently looking for a General Foreman for a Water based Civil Engineering project around the Hull area. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring that work progresses according to schedule, and maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. Your role will involve:

• Supervising and coordinating daily construction activities on-site.

• Providing hands-on expertise and guidance to your team, leading by example.

• Interpreting construction plans and ensuring their accurate implementation.

• Collaborating with project managers to develop and adhere to project timelines.

• Overseeing the efficient use of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.

• Enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Monitoring and inspecting work quality to ensure compliance with standards.

• Addressing any issues or delays promptly to prevent project setbacks.

• Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including team members and management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the construction industry.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
