We're looking for an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in Bradford on a full-time basis, starting in January until Easter, with the potential for extension until Summer. In this role, you'll enjoy a lighter timetable, giving you the opportunity to cover a variety of subjects and provide general classroom support when needed.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Geography or a related subject.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to student development.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons that inspire curiosity and understanding in students.
- Plan and prepare lessons that meet curriculum standards and adapt to diverse learning needs.
- Attend parent evenings, offering feedback and support to promote student progress.
- Provide general cover for classes as needed, contributing to a collaborative school environment.
