Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Provide a supportive, stimulating learning environment and share our high expectations of achievement for all students.
- To assist the Head of Faculty to ensure that the curriculum area provides a range of teaching which compliments the Academy's strategic objectives.
- To achieve any performance criteria or targets arising from the Academy's Performance Management arrangements.
- To maintain the required level of CPD.
- Maintain appropriate records to demonstrate progress made by students.
Requirements
- QTS/QTLS is essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Experience teaching across both KS3 and KS4
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- The ability to interest, encourage and engage students
- Create a well organised, stimulating learning environment
